Model CG-D pump is a horizontal multi-stage centrifugal pump and suitable for transporting pure water (with the contained foreign matters' content less than 1% and
graininess less than 0.1mm) and other liquids of both physical and chemical natures similar to those of pure water.
CG-D model middle and low pressure boiler water supply pump is applicable to transport medium with temperature of not higher than 105, and is also applicable for
small boiler water supply or transporting medium similar to hot water.

For this series horizontal multi-stage centrifugal pump,both ends of it are supported,the casing portion is in a sectional form,it is connected to and actuated by a motor via
are silent clutch and the rotating direction of it,viewing from the actuating end, is clockwise.Refer to Fig.1 for the structure of it.
Stator Portion
The stator portion consists of the suck-in section, middle-section, spitting section, guide vane, and packing, all linked together with a take-up bolt, with both suck-in and spitting mouths vertically upward.
Rotor Portion
The rotor portion comprises a shaft, impeller, balancing disk, and muff.
Bearing Portion
The entire rotor is supported by roller bearings or sliding bearings on both ends of the shaft. These bearings are lubricated with grease or 20-engine oil.
Cooling and Seal of Pump
The joint between the suction section, intermediate section, and discharge section is coated with molybdenum disulfide lubricating grease for sealing. The rotor and fixed parts are sealed by seal rings, guide-vane jackets, and packing. The packing tensile degree of the shaft seal should be proper, allowing feasible seep by dip. Unload run should be forbidden.
The seal ring and guide vane jacket should be replaced if they are too worn to be effective, to avoid damaging the pump. A spare shaft sleeve near the shaft seal protects the pump shaft. The shaft seal should hold water and seal water. For liquids transferred above 80℃, cooled water should be added to the water cooling packing gland and shaft seal cooling chamber. Both cooled and seal water should be clean and at normal temperatures.
- The pressure of cooled water should be 1.5~3 Kg/cm².
- The pressure of seal water should be more than 0.5~1 Kg/cm² of the seal chamber.
The positions of cooling water pipe joints vary by pump type. Refer to the construction drawing of the pump for axial positions and Chart 1 for radial positions. Shaft seals are classified as packing seal and mechanical seal. The water seal for the packing seal is industrial water, with a pressure of 2-3 Kg/cm². The flushing water for the mechanical seal is softened water, with pressure 3 Kg/cm² higher than the inlet pressure.
