NW type Horizontal Dewatering Pump

NW type low-pressure drain pump is used to transport low-pressure heater drains in power plants, and the medium temperature is <120°C. This series of pumps has good cavitation performance and is suitable for working

conditions with low NPSHr.

NW type low plus dewatering pump is mainly composed of four parts: stator, rotor, rolling bearing and shaft seal:

Stator part

Horizontal segmental type: The shell part is mainly composed of the water inlet section, the middle section, the water outlet section, the guide vane and other parts, which are connected as a whole with tightening bolts. The pump

suction inlet and outlet are vertically upward. Double-stage split type: the casing part consists of a pump body and a pump cover.

Rotor part

The rotor part is mainly composed of a shaft and impellers, bushings, balance hubs and other parts mounted on the shaft. The parts on the shaft are fastened with keys and round nuts to make them integrated with the shaft.

The entire rotor is supported on the pump housing by bearings at both ends.

Bearing part

The bearing part is mainly composed of bearing body and bearing. When the pump is running, the rotor part should be able to move freely axially in the pump housing with an amount of 3-5mm. The bearings of the pump are

lubricated with thin oil and externally cooled by water. The bearing components are equipped with thermometers and oil level gauges.

Pump seal

The joint surfaces of the water inlet section, middle section, water outlet section and tail cover of the shell part are sealed with O-type rubber rings or molded paper gaskets.

Shaft seals include packing seals and mechanical seals.

Packing seal: mainly composed of packing gland, packing sleeve, packing and packing ring. The liquid in the sealing working chamber plays the roles of water sealing, water cooling and water lubrication.

Mechanical seal: Mainly composed of mechanical seal and mechanical seal gland.

Pump rotation direction

The segmented structure rotates clockwise when viewed from the motor (water inlet end) to the pump; the double-stage volute type can rotate clockwise or counterclockwise.
